FIGHT FOR JEFFERSON
Our strategy:

"Each suggested strategy is worthy and important. Do it all... well." Mr. Grice.
We demand equity of education in our community. We will no longer tolerate the systematic dismantling of Jefferson High School by the PPS School Board. We have been working toward and promised a comprehensive Jefferson High School. This deception by the PPS School Board is not acceptable.

1) Target the school board. They are the power brokers. Every board member should get calls, e-mails, and letters in the US mail, requests for appointments. A list will of email addresses is at the bottom of this message. Send it to everyone you know. If they don't know what to write send the above. We will not attack another school, we don't need to.

2) Make a strong showing at the following meetings. Wear blue and gold. We will be stationed outside with signs and placards for attendees

Community Meeting for the entire city, Tuesday, May 18, 7-9 p.m. Roosevelt Campus, 6941 N Central St.

Jefferson PTA Community Meeting, Saturday, May 22, 10am-noon. A rally at 9am. This is OUR house and we will not let it be torn asunder.

Regular School Board Meeting, Monday, May 24, 7:00 p.m. Blanchard Education Service Center, 501 N. Dixon St., to testify at this meeting call Lynda Rose at 503-916-3904. You will need to give her the following: your name, the date (May 24) and subject.
We need everyone at this meeting.
This is our biggest stand.

3) Placards will be available for any one to hand out or place in businesses. Email: Overlookjulie@comcast.net. Let me know how many you want and I will deliver them.
