Thank you to members who contributed to the association this last year. It is through your membership and other contributions that we are able to do some of the things that were of benefit to the association, students, graduates, and the school.
Goal this year is to raise $30,000 through membership. We need 1,200 alums to become $25.00 donation members this year. We will have a membership drive in October.
During the last year the Association has:
• Used volunteer (non-paid) alumni to do work of the association
• Sent out two newsletters to keep you informed
• Built an electronic database and continues to update it with alumni contact information
• Raised approximately $5,000.00 through membership and fundraisers
• Held its second alumni and community tailgater at Jefferson’s homecoming game
• Volunteered over 2,000 hours at the school performing mentoring, office assistance, grounds maintenance, facility maintenance and other tasks as needed.
We are an active association, working to assist the school, students and alumni. Your money is not spent on frivolous items. We encourage you to give the most you can to help with our monumental efforts. Remember your contribution to the association is tax deductible.
